Have you ever just been oblivious to something for so long, even when people you know mention all about it and it never dawns on you to try it for yourself? If so, then we're all in the same court here. We become so complacent when we get "used to" taking in the same ole things, eating the same ole stuff and somewhere down the line we either get bored or something happens to change our awareness.
Many people dont think about herbs and they use them all the time! Every time you step into the kitchen to prepare a meal, especially if you're a meat eater, you find yourself looking for seasoning. See there! Or maybe you went outside your back yard and noticed these pretty yellow flowers growing in an odd place and you snatch them up and place them in a vase on your table--However you may come across them, they've been apart of our domain since the beginning of time (read Genesis) So why use them you say? Because of their ever-loving healing properties. Hmm..what type of properties? I mean chemical compounds, restorative abilities, sources of energy and components that respond to our inner being that can very well keep US ALIVE. I can begin naming these scientific names that would make your tongue do the twist but thats not necessary; Now, if I didnt name enough reasons to make you wonder then you're just being quite stubborn about this thing. Lol
The vibrational energy of plants is sooooo powerful. Back in the day, I've noticed people with green thumbs talk to their plants and herbs like children which they say would cause their leaves to sprout even further. Plants are very smart and produce their own food, make the air we breathe cleaner & save energy from the sun. You have perennials (lives more than two years), annuals, biennials (takes two years to grow). Plants can be herbaceous, grasses, shrubs, trees the same with herbs they can be roots, bark, powdered, cut & sifted or leaves. We have plenty of possibilities with these bad boys. So before you overthink and say What can it do for me-I'll give you one tip before you-research!! Applying herbs into your life can become the greatest mitigator when pain or inflammation has occured in the body. Inflammation is not the issue of what you experience but primarily the symptom to a long time habit formed by either what you take in as food or by the result of injury. Herbs can also provide nutritive balance in the body that are not compensated through chemically processed food or general cooked food that you eat on a norm.
You'd be amazed at just what little changes you can be begin to making in your diet and your body by the implementation of herbs.
